To help guide new subscribers in the account setup process, we have a Quick Setup Wizard that provides users with a list of questions linked to key system settings. By answering them and configuring the associated settings, they’ll be able to complete the simple setup quickly, allowing users to start applying for leaves immediately. The wizard is available for first-time setup and will be hidden once a policy exists in the account. In February, we added a Carry Over Expiry Setting under the ‘Leave Policy Settings’ tab. The Carry Over setting can be used to define whether unused leaves are allowed to be carried forward to the next year, up to the maximum number of days. Meanwhile, the new expiry option allows Admin to choose whether leaves carried over will be subject to an expiry date.

Admins can manage all user records at the Manage User page, such as add, edit, or deactivate users. We added the Position Level column to the user listing for easier search and categorisation this month.

In TimeTec Leave, a feature known as Replacement Leave enables users to apply for replacement credit if they work on public holidays and weekends. Applications are submitted to their superiors, and once approved, the system will add the credit to Replacement Leave balance for the users to apply for leave. On the Replacement Credit page, users can monitor the applications which may fall under “Pending”, “Approved”, “Cancelled”, or “Rejected” status. We recently changed the colours for each status to align with the design in TimeTec mobile apps.
